Help with asus U300 mini

Hey guys,
I have an Asus u3000 mini, which works great when watching TV in GB PVR, but when i record i only get dvr-ms files. I would like to record in mpeg2 or even an avi file. Any ideas on how to do this?

Your TV channels are transmitted as MPEG-2, so your only options are recording as either a .dvr-ms or .mpg file. Which of these you get depends on which mux filter you're using. The default Microsoft on generates .dvr-ms files. To get .mpg files you'd need to install either the ATI or Cyberlink mux, and select it as the preferred mux in the config app.

You can configure GB-PVR auto reencoder your recordings to xvid/divx .avi files after the fact.
