I've just noticed that ctlr G and F1 are bringing up the same mini guide during live tv.
On previous versions F1 would be a cut down full guide, and ctlr g was the mini guide.
Is this deliberate?

isn't that an option in the config.xml?

Code:
<!--  Live TV Settings  -->
<LiveTVGuide>full</LiveTVGuide>

or maybe something's funny in your keymapping file

Could be - I don't think I've ever changed anything tho. Whats the alternative options to 'full' then in config?
Key mappings shouldn't be an issue, I've tested it on the keyboard as well as the remote (if that's what you mean)
Also subs posted recently about the two differnt guides http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=2 so I'm just wondering why I'm now down to one type...

Still looking for an answer to this, but now i've found out that F1 works as expected during playback of recordings and brings up the cut down guide, but during live tv it brings up the green button mini guide. any thoughts?

can someone try this out on their install to see if it's just my setup or not?
try f1 and green button (ctrl g) on playback of a recording which should show two different types of mini guides. Then do the same on live tv...

That's the mini-guide I think.

Quote:Guide button gives mini-guide
If it looks like a three lines of the normal TV Guide then that's the 'Full' guide as far as I can tell.

The options for <LiveTVGuide> are 'full' or 'mini'. It's set on the Misc tab in Config with the 'Use mini-guide for Live TV' checkbox. It controls the action of F1 on my machine (ctrl-G isn't affected).

Cheers,
Brian
