Hello,

I just setup schedulesDirect and every time I click "update egp" I get 7 extra channels at the bottom, the don't have a number next to it, just a name. When I look at my lineup on their website it's correct.

Also, the TV guide doesn't show any information for MTV, even though it's listed properly. But more worrisome than that awful channel, there are several which have a name but no number (GSN, HSN, MTV, OXYGEN, STYLE, TRVL). then, there are others with a name and number but they're out of order at the end of the guide, (15-GOA, 50-STYL, 56-SPEE, 63-CMTV), and have no listing information (like MTV).

I'm on 1.0.16 and I did update the backendcommon.dll, made sure it copied by checking the date/time (8/20 3:57) and rebooted. I followed the SchedulesDirect directions to the letter.

Many thanks in advance

Cheers,

Richard

Easiest way to ensure correct channel lists is to wipe out the existing list in GB-PVR, make sure your SD lineups are correct, and update EPG. Then you can ensure that the EPG channels line up correctly with your tuner in the recording source config.

This may affect your existing recording schedule, so back everything up or get ready to set them up again in the GB-PVR GUI.

If GB-PVR finds "new" channels (as may happen when SD changes a name) then it will add the new one to the end of the list without regard to what else you may have.

The Channels tab in the config app lets you edit a couple of channel parameters which may do what you want with

There are also ways to fix the channel list directly in the database but unless you are comfortable messing around with SQL tables, try editing in the config app first.
