yapi2xml - error downloading providers

I'm finally trying to get a new EPG source after losing Zap2it and thought I would give yapi2xml a try.

Following WIKI instructions for installing I get the following error when I input my zip and select "Get Providers": Error dowloading providers, please retry.

Probably missing something obvious...

I just tested it with my zip code and it worked great. What zip code are you trying. Can you zip and post the log? Also, this should be in the plug-ins forums or in this thread: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=28861

there is not much in the error log other than:

zip is 06512 provider is Comcast Branford. I have tried other zipcodes without any success. I also tried downloading and unzipping again in case there was a problem there. I have also tried with firewall disabled et cetera, but this should not be a problem as I granted yapi2xml permission the first time I ran it.

again, I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, and hence don't understand what it is I'm doing wrong.

any enlightenment would be much appreciated as I will be in certain trouble if desperate housewives doesn't record tonight :o

Sorry I cant help with this problem, but I can offer some advice - particularly when WAF is involved. Save yourself the long term grief and pay the $20 for a year of listings with schedules direct. I dont know how you value your time, but to me I dont have to spend much time on something before spending $20 instead starts to sound attractive.

I have no idea what the problem could be because i just tested with your zip code and it worked. In the yapi2xml folder replace your ini file with this one. It has all your channels pre-loaded for your provider. You can edit any settings you want then.

Let me know if it works.
