PureVideo Update

Was just wondering if nVidia puts out updates to the PureVideo decoder? If so, does anyone know where the updates are located?

If memory serves me correctly, they announced that there would be no more updates for the PureVideo decoder. They were instead shifting focus to PureVideo HD support in the drivers and leaving the decoders to 3rd party solutions.

Out of interest, are people still generally using purevideo now that development has stopped, or have they shifted to a more advanced decoder now - one of the cyberlink powerdvd ones for instance?

The Cyberlink PDVD decoder performed better for me on Vista but the PureVideo decoder performs better on XP. I'll be playing around with ArcSoft's decoders later this week.
