Hi I dont know if there is a setting for this, but what I`m after is a setting in the config or if you right click on the GBPVR icon to select, "Standby after recording has finished", the reason being is that my pc doesn`t always go to standby after a recording has finished, the cpu sometimes fluxuates from like 1% to 4% and hence will not go into standby. I cant find the reason for this.
So I thought it might be nice if GBPVR sends a command to send the PC to standby when it has stopped recording.

Thanks

there's no setting in config or in gbpvr for that. you'll have to use a batch.
one of the easiest ways: get psshutdown from sysinternals/microsoft & create postprocessing.bat with the following line

psshutdown -d

some words of warning: that will not check for pending or other in progress recordings & might cause you some headaches if you miss something. you might want to check first for pending / in progress recordings before standby. search for psshutdown, you'll find different solutions for that. pick the one which suits your needs Wink

Try http://www.xpmediacentre.com.au/communit...chine.html

You have to register for the forum. I used it when my PC stopped hibernating before the latest rebuild, after I rebuilt hibernation worked fine

You can choose hibernate or standby

you might want to decrease the no of minutes to standby/hibernate. I set mine to 3-5 minutes. If you have other users, you might want to set it individually as well, as I find if somebody is logged on, sometimes it does not go to sleep. I also created a force reboot batch file and put in my Task Scheduler, and scheduled it to start in the early morning around 3am to just clear any processes that was left running. Mind you the restart will not check for recordings pending or otherwise, so put it a time you most unlikely will do a recording.
