Quote:-I cannot view my wifes favorite sat program "Duna TV" without modifying the 0130.ini file.
-transcoding to 3gp format doesn't work if you don't modify a line in config.xml
Feel free to provide me the updates to these and I'll update the master files. I dont use either of these, so wouldnt know they werent working unless someone tells me. If you provide the updates, then other users wont have the same problem.

Quote:-When I search in TV guide the last three letters in the Danish alphabet are missing until I add them to searchpopup.xml in
The next release has this hooked into the language.xml file, so shouldnt need you to modify any skin files.

Quote:-The Danish thanslation is incomplete and some words are mis spelled. Several words in the plugins are hardcoded and cannot be translated.
All these are basic functionalities, most of them have been discussed in the forums, and most of them are easily fixed. Every time a new version of GB-pvr comes out, I have to correct a lot.
I cant help you there, I dont speak Danish. All the words in the core application should be translatable. The translation files I've got have been supplied by users. If you want to supply the updated file that fixes Danish errors then I'm happy to include it.

Quote:-The FM radio on my hauppauge HVR-3000 is not supported.
GB-PVR has only ever supported FM radio on supported analog capture devices. This device does not have the hardware MPEG2 encoder required for analog, so is unlikely to ever work.

Quote:-Teletext never really worked. Once I saw "100" on top of the screen, that is the closest I ever was to watch teletext.
Teletext works fine here. Post another thread about this and I'll look into it for you. I've got a couple ideas about likely causes.

Quote:-Then comes all the times the PC needs to be rebooted because it suddently hangs, or refuse to record or refuse to connect to trhe MVP's.
I'm not aware of any issues that cause these symptoms. Post a thread with the details and logs and I'll look into it for you.

Quote:-Sometimes it is impossible to view or record one specific show. It comes every morning, and every morning for a long time I couldn't see it live or record it. All other shows are available. Suddently the problem was gone.
This is too vague to provide any comments. Post details and logs and I'll look into it.

Quote:But my point is that despite all these small problems it is still a great piece of software. Where else would i get a PVR server that can stream to three different TV's in my house for such a low price? One PC and three MediaMVP's cost nothing compared to a windows media center and three X-boxes! And where else would you get so much help.
But don't tell me that it is rock stable and has no bugs.
I'm not trying to tell anybody that its rock stable and bug free. It is pretty good though, and for the majority of users it works really well.

Remember I'm just one guy doing this development and support in my spare time, and its freaking huge, so I dont have the time to spend on getting everything perfect, particularly fringe stuff like Danish support. I focus on the things I think are most important, then rely on others to help out with testing and feedback etc. If you're offering to be one of those guys that makes sure the release up to the required standard, then I'm happy to accept your offer...

I this post we discussed the Duna TV problem:
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...light=duna
I only watch Duna, nothing else. My workaround is to remove all frequencies from the 0130.ini file and add only the input for Duna TV. For your distribution it should of course just be added to the list of frequencies:
[SATTYPE]
1=0130
2=Hotbird 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
[DVB]
0=1
1=12145,V,27500,34

The 3gp transcoding was discussed in this post:
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...hlight=3gp
If the line is replaced as you suggest in the post, transcoding works.

Great!

I don't expect you to speak Danish, so of course I don't mind correcting the translation. I am working on an updated version of the Danish language file. Now and then I discover a new word I didn't know was in use. Is there a complete list of translatable words? I think my file is complete, at least for the functions I use, but there might be more words I haven't seen in my daily use. I have attached my Danish translation.

Ok. I am looking forward to a web radio plugin. That would be even better.

OK, I will do that.

I know, and that has been my point all the time. I know you put a lot of time in this project, and for sure we are many who appreciate you work.
By the way I think it is time to donate, I sendt a small donation.

Have you looked at ubu's plugins? They used to be really good - you could add virtually any stream to them. I haven't used them in a while, though, so I don't know how up to date they are...

If you look in config-master.dont-edit-me.xml, the file is already set that way for the .3gp transcode. I updated it when I made that post. If your wasnt set that way, then it was just because you old value was retained during the upgrade. This problem was originall caused because the version of ffmpeg was changed, and since very few people use the 3gp conversion it wasnt picked up for quite a while.

I've just now updated all the satellite transponder files from the joshyfun list (usually do it every release), and added your missing transponder at the same time. It might be worth submitting the extra transponder at http://joshyfun.peque.org/transponders/index.html so that it makes it way into the many apps that use these files. I'm surprised its not there as his files are usually very complete and updated often.

No there isnt, but if you set the following registry key, it'll create a c:\translate.txt file containing the strings as you use the various parts of the application.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Devnz\LogTranslations=1

There was a patch here somewhere that made net radio available in PVRX2.exe. It'll be officially included again in the next release though.

I agree, the UBU plugins are really good, but unfortunately UBU Radio doesn't support MediaMVP at moment. If it will be updated, it is just what I need.

I see. Looks like it is about time for me to do a clean install instead of upgrading from the previous version Smile

Super, it works. Thanks.

Such a key doesn't exist in my regedit. When I have time I will try to create it and see how it works. Sounds like it will do what I need to make a compelete translation.

Unfortunately the net radio doesn't play my local radio stations. UBU radio does, so I am hopinmgh that author of that will upgrade it so it works via MVP.

Yeah, it doesnt exist by default. You'd need to create it to use this feature.
