I haven't noticed anyone mentioning this, but when the clocks were set back an hour here in the US last weekend, all of my pending recordings were shifted back an hour. The guide is correct, but shows scheduled before the time change are now scheduled an hour earlier. I know I just need to cancel all the recordings and schedule them again, but I just thought I'd bring up the issue.

I had a different problem but the same solution might work. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=30926
In other words, your recordings may be set to record at the correct time but its just the display that's off.

Assuming you aren't recording manually, the next epg update should record the shows at the correct time. There is a built in window for recurring windows to catch the time that your network moves the show forward or back by 1/2 hour or so. That is, if you have a recurring recording for 8-9, it will be recorded if the show is scheduled for any hour between 7:30 and 9:30 (and there is an option to expand that window in config.xml called allowabletimeslotvariance.). However, I can't find the post by sub that explained it really well.

I also found this post from Jim which said (post 5 in http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...time+shift)
"Check your UpdateEPG.bat to see if it has this section.
It’s been a very long time since I’ve used it, but I believe you just enable the feature by setting "SET ShiftListings=1" and choose the "SET Offset=-0500" you want. The example would shift the listings -5 hours.
The default file for the shifted output is tv.xml but you can change that to TVGuide.xml if you want.

UpdateEPG.bat
Code:

REM *** Organize channels & Shift Listing times. (Not used with GBPVR)***
SET OrganizeChannels=0
SET ShiftListings=0
SET Offset=-0500
SET ShiftedFile=TV.XML"

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The shows are definitely recording an hour too early. Frasier ends up being the Golden Girls and Family Guy ends up some awful anime. The program guide is correct, except the previously scheduled recordings sort of override the guide. For example, Frasier is on at 11:00 and 11:30, and those two episodes show up correctly in the guide. But, the same two episodes, which were automatically scheduled to record before the time change, also show up on the guide, but at 10:00 and 10:30. I easily fixed it by getting rid of all the Reoccurring recordings and anything I'd manually scheduled before the time change, then completely reloading the EPG, and setting up my recordings again.

It's just strange why they would all be shifted like that. Perhaps it has to do with the guide data? My guess is the guide data after the time change was already adjusted for it. So while I was still under Daylight Savings Time, the already adjusted guide data was loaded in. Then when the guide reloaded for the first time under standard time, everything was fine, except a week of recordings were already set based on the old data's time.

Oh well, it's all good now. I blame it on the zap2it data.

one more suggestion from the wiki:

"Time calculating

GB-PVR asks Windows to convert each of the zap2it times (which are in UTC) into local time. Windows does this based on your machines current timezone settings. So you do need to check that your timezone is correct in Windows Control Panel’s Date And Time Settings. Remember to use the “Empty EPG” button afterwards to clear the programmes you have already imported, which now have incorrect times. "
Since I didn't need to do this following the time change, I am not sure what the logic is that would require it in your case. Could it be that you set your recordings a time when your operating system didn't have the patch to correct for the one week delay in the start of DSL?
If I was to "Empty EPG", I would use the plugin tab on the config to export recordings (just in case I lost access to recordings in trying to correct the time problem)

That would be my guess.
