Blight, the author of Zoom Player has included support for the Haali renderer in the latest beta. It seems to be a wonderful renderer displaying rich accurate colors. I am not sure if it is better than EVR, but in all cases in the same league or better.
As I remember Blight wrote in his forum that support for the renderer was fairly easy to implement. It would be interesting to see how it would work in GB-PVR. It has no dependency on .NET 3.0 etc. I think you must have the Haali MKV splitter installed though.
I used Haali in ZP in Vista with great results. It did much better there than any other renderer, although it had problems with some formats.
