I am having a great holiday and I have a big learning curve coming us after my son installs my hvr1600 and my mvp. I would like to take this time to thank everyone - those who have patiently answered my questions, those who posted questions I didn't realize I needed to ask and those who have made this experience of participating in a forum so very interesting and made me feel welcome. The Girlfriend and I had a real GBPVR Christmas. With all the shopping, traveling etc leading up to the holiday, we had watched very little TV.

After opening presents Christmas morning we settled in for a marathon 12 hour GBPVR session. Watching multiple "30 Rock", "ER", "The Office", "Simpsons", "SouthPark" episodes as well as at least 6 "Meerkat Manor's" (Meerkat Manor is the best soap opera on tv).

We usually travel during Xmas. This was a nice change.
