Number of entries in recordings screen

What controls the number of entries that are displayed in the recordings screen. See the attached two pictures for an example what I mean. On my PVR only four entries are shown, and on my network client seven are shown?

I cannot remember having touched the skin or config settings, so in principle they should be identical?!

Hmm, after looking at both screenshots at the same time this looks like it's related to the aspect ratio. The server has a 4:3 monitor (1280x1024) and the client is widescreen (1280x800). But even changing both displays to 800x600 keep the 4 entries on the server and 7 entries on the client. A font issue maybe?

if you click on mode it will change

Click on the "mode" icon to change the thumbnail view of each layout

Yes toggle the mode button. Once you have done that remove mode from the menu by editting the config.xml


<ShowModeButtonInRecordings>false</ShowModeButtonInRecordings>

- as far as I can see it isn't much use. I assume it allows a preview image but not sure how to set that up.
