Why am I transcoding?

Hi all,

Every time I finish a scheduled recording my system starts to transcode it. I've not instructed it to do so either in the scheduling of the recording or via the conversion check boxes in the config tool.

The net result is that not only do I have an MPEG recording but an AVI one also.

Any ideas?

Do you have a postrecording.bat maybe which does this?

There is something odd going on. My system keeps adding entries to the trancoding_queue table even though I have the options off. Luckily it doesn;t fire off a trancoding process but I get these errors in the recordingservice log.

Nope. But I do have postprocessing.bat which fires up something called c2avi. Looks like this might be the culprit. I've renamed it to something else.

I get the same errors as gED and have never set or used transcoding. I've ignored them as they didn't seem to do anything and when I remember them, sub is just about to jet off somewhere so didn't want to busy him.
