This might be a little specific, but it seems very easy to add. Many video files contain multiple audio tracks, and although you can switch between these in dvd mode with ctrl+g, you cannot while viewing videos in your own collection. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to hear his foreign tv videos on their dubbed track.

Thanks

I also have this problem. I've burned a few TV episodes ripped from DVD to Divx with commentary tracks. When I play them in something like Media Player Classic, only the first track plays automatically, giving me the option to select the commentary from a right-click menu. But when I play the same files in GBPVR, both audio tracks play simultaneously and I can't turn off the commentary. I've searched Google high and low for a way to prevent players that don't support switching audio tracks from playing both automatically, like through ffdshow or something, but have had no luck. Seeing as how Media Player Classic allows you to choose which audio track you want, it would be nice if ctrl+g could do the same in GBPVR for any video file as well as DVD's. I would much rather stay within one frontend than have to close it and open a different player to be able to switch between primary and commentary tracks.

The reason lots of players dont support this is because Directshow has no built-in API for doing this, and it needs to be done differently for each file type and often specific to the decoders used. This makes it particularly hard when GB-PVR doesnt install any decoders, so the user could be using any old decoder.

That said, the next release of GB-PVR is able to toggle between the audio tracks on an AVI file if you have Morgan Stream Selecter filter installed. This is pretty much what MPC does for switching audio tracks on an AVI file. MPC also uses the Morgan Stream Selecter if its installed.

I've spent a bit more time on this today, and also added support for switching audio tracks with MKV files. So in summary, in the next release you should be able to:

- switch tracks in MKV files
- switch tracks in AVI files if you have the Morgan Stream Switcher installed

Thanks Sub, you're the best. This is why I love GBPVR so much; great support.
