I am running Win2K and it did not automatically update the new daylight savings time, as it was ahead 2 weeks this year. I changed the time manually 2 days ago. I did a complete reload of the EPG a couple of times, yet all programs are still off by 1 hour.

Would anyone please tell me how to fix this issue? I can see the guide fine but it is off by one hour, so all recordings must be done by "Manual Recording".

Thank you.

MS produced a DST patch for most OS's last year (october / november) so that windows automatically worked with new DST.

If you can't find that - set the clock to not update to DST, and set the clock

You might have to empty your epg in the config app as well.

Thanks

Thanks. I just emptied the EPG and reloaded it, the times in the TC Guide are still off by 1 hour. Would you have any other suggestions?

Download and run the tzedit program from MS.

Then empty and update your epg.

I had to do the same. I had upgraded my computer and thus my time change didn't work properly until I patched it. I had to empty the EPG and then update it to get the scheduled programs in the correct slots.

Thanks again. I ran the TZEdit program and changed the daylight info (I can see this working by double clicing on the time). Emptied and reloaded EPG, same problem.

I also unticked the DST, emptied and reloaded EPG same problem again. What a mistery.

I will try a good old reboot later, can't do it now since I run some servers that are in use.
MY PC time is correct, but the programs are shown as being one hour earlier in the guide.

The reboot did not solve the problem, but all is good now: It turns out that pressing "Empty EPG" and then immediately afterwards pressing "Reload EPG" did not work for me. What worked was pressing "Empty EPG", then pressing "OK" (window disappears), then open again, press "Reload EPG" and press "OK" again. I am not sure what the Empty EPG does by itself.

Anyway, thank you all for the help, now I have a Win2K machine patched for DST too.
