Hello Sub -

I noticed in your upgrade notes, you mention the db3 database but not the mdb database. Is the mdb database going to continue to be supported, or will it eventually be phased out? Also, if the config is setup to use the mdb database, will the upgrade leave it as is? (I believe I recall a prior upgrade that switched the config back to the db3 database....:confusedSmile

Thanks...

It was phased out about 18 months ago. I havnt purposefully done anything to stop it working, and but GB-PVR hasnt been tested with it in a very long time.

I wouldnt recommend anyone stick with the MDB database. There were a couple of significant bugs with this database which prompted this original move to a different database. (missing recordings etc)

So I can use Digiguide EPG with DABDig to control GB-PVR, is it possible to revert v1.3.11 to using an mdb database file.

Thanks ...... Nick.

You can use XMLTV with DigiGuide to populate the GB-PVR EPG with DigiGuide Data.

You can also use GB-PVR's schedule.exe in an event inside DigiGuide - e.g. right-click and select 'Video this programme' with event suitably modified.

Thanks vfrvulcan.

You mentioning the command line utility schedule.exe started me going down that route. Found the thread here about that HERE.

Also had some help from Paul Webster (DABDig developer).

Just need to see if I can set the recording quality from that now.
