Question about the new EPGUpdate event

Is it also sent when recordings are scheduled, canceled, and changed (e.g. from the TVGuide) or only when the EPG is reloaded? If it is just the latter, is there some other event I can use to find out that the list of pending recordings has been modified?

That event will fire at the end of the EPG update process, after any season recordings etc are created.

There isnt currently away to be notified of changes to recordings occurring in other screens. Its actually not straight forward, particularly when you consider people could be running multiple instances of the application (PC, client machines, MVP, PCH etc). For the most part, the internals of the app are often unaware of this stuff so its not easy to let plugins know - I personally reload the recording list each time the user visits the TV Guide or Recordings screen.
