Under XP Home SP3, the best I have managed out of this card is some 720p WMVHD playback. I am trying many different drivers, many of which will not install. In PowerDVD I can only get a Blu-Ray or HD-DVD to play back at 5 frames a second. The Hardware Acceleration on this card simply does not work. The reason to buy this card is the Unified Video Decoder feature, which cannot be activated. I have tried 'ATI_HD_Reg_Tweaks_0.15.vbs' and setting 'DisablePCIEx1LaneUVD' to zero in DVXA Checker. Nothing works. Do not buy this card. I also have a Sapphire nVidia 8400GS fanless PCI. Costs the same but the Hardware Acceleration works better. I am disappointed in ATI. I will try Powercolor support, but I doubt if they will fix the problem at this stage...I will also try my luck with Windows 7 RC1
