Looking at the ATI650 or the Fusion7 for unencrypted QAM capture in PVRX2 (latest version). Just looking for opinions on what one would be better. Thanks!

For QAM you're probably safer with a Hauppauge HVR1600/1800/2250.

I was just sent the ATI650 to test and so far, I'm not having any luck with QAM but I've not had luck with my HVR-1600 either. I'm assuming it's my cable company but in order for them to actually give me worth while information on QAM, I'd have to marry them.....it's hopeless.
IMO, you'll have better support both here and with Hauppauge as I'm sure there's more of the Hauppauge out in the streets.

On the HVR-1600, did you try Scanning for QAM using the "All frequencies" option? If not, start it overnight (it takes around 6-hours)

No I didn't but thanks for that info. I hope to have time later in the week to work on this as I'm busy testing some other things. I appreciate the info.

Has anyone seen the Hauppauge HVR2250? I looked at their web page and the only reference is in a support document, not product. I don't really want to buy a analog/digital board as the analog will be a waste (for me) in less than a year.
