v1.2.9 & IR Blaster Issue

Hi all.

I've just upgraded to v1.2.9 and now I have an issue where GBPVR no longer pulses my IR blaster with a channel change when initiating a recording.

v1.1.5 did this fine. The IR changes via the blaster work fine within 1.2.9 Live TV mode it's only when a new recording starts that the channel change no longer is sent to my STB. Any ideas? I'm using HIP v 3.2.0.4 and HIP Send to handle the IR blaster via GBPVR. For now I've downgraded back to v1.1.5 to fix the issue.

I had a similar problem and this is how I fixed it.

View the properties of the GB-PVR Recording Service.
Goto the Log On tab and select "Allow service to interact with desktop" or Alt-W
Apply settings

aHa! So that why I've had a couple of recordings not recording the right channel! I've been playing with hip, but not using it. How do I access the properties of the recordings service?

Start->Settings->Control Panel
Double click on Administrative Tools
Double click on Services
Scroll down to GBPVR Recording Service & double click on it
Select the Logon tab
Check the 'Allow service to interact with desktop' box
Click OK
Close everything out
You should probably also restart the service

Did as instructed and did some tests, seem to work. WAF DEFCOM back to normal!
