How well does MVP work on 802.11b

I have seen that people are using the MVP on wireless, but I was wondering if anyone is using it with 802.11b. 11mbps is cutting it pretty close for higher quality video streaming. I already have 802.11b equipment and would hate to have to replace it all to go A or g.

Also if you are using the MVP with wireless, post your config and experience, if you wouldn't mind (11b or not). I'd like to get a good idea of what is working well.

I found that for me 802.11b was fine for music but a no go for video, especially high quality dvd rips which play back in very slow motion! VCD format was better, but still too jerky to be watchable.

This was with a Netgear access point and Asus WL-330 access point/ethernet adaptor.
