Good news, got it working. I took everything out like you suggested and for some reason I could not get anything to start-up. So I added the bare minimum back in the case with only 5 screws holding the board in place, not even tightened down and started up no problem. So I slowing added piece by piece and when I connected the CD-RW then no hard drives. I unplugged it and presto everything worked. I got to thinking that it is only 2 years old so it cannot be bad and I flipped the IDE cable 180 degrees and everything worked. I have 1 of my hard drives on the same ribbon and with the way the case is situated, the hard drives mount vertical and the CD-RW mounts horizantal the ribbon was crossed. I knew it had to be something easy, I just could not see it until I added piece by piece, turning the computer off and on. So far the temps are about 5-10 degrees cooler, round 50-52 celcius. Thanks again. Matt B.
