Hi all
Martin just helped me to get everything going on the popcorn.
I just got hold of an lcd monitor with hdmi so I thought I would move it over.
I can see the popcorn and I can use telnet, but once I try to start GBPVR the screen just stays black.
Here is my startmeup and config
Thanks for the help

My config seems similar to yours. startup is slightly different.

Quote:#echo "Shell to mvpmcx2 "

/etc/mvpmc/ether-wake 00:16:ec:f0:b5:68

#remove the # from most appropriate line

# Analog TV settings

#/etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 -m ntsc &
#/etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 -m pal &

# HDMI/DVI settings

/etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2 -o hdmi --emulate 192.168.1.6 &

Compress and upload your GBPVR logs and I will have a look. Regarding
martin123's command line -o hdmi is the default for HD, so it not really necessary and without the -m mvpmcx2 is getting the monitor settings from the PCH's flash setting.

I am not seeing any attempt from the PCH to logon to GBPVR, it is not because you changed resolution. . Since you say you have telnet I suggest going to telnet and try the command

/etc/mvpmc/startmeup

If you see errors perhaps your machine doesn't like -m 1080 I would try
-m 720 and -m 1080p too.

Hi Martin
I found the stupid error when I used putty.
Some how I had left an "&" on a line by itself, so as soon as I deleted that silly error all was good.
Thanks again for your help and now I can sit back and enjoy.
I hope I don't have to annoy you to soon.
Thanks for all your help over the last couple of weeks.
Dave
