OK, so now I feel like an idiot... I searched and searched the forms, because I knew I saw it there before! The wiki? Next time I'll know.

So, "they would need to reenter the plugin and navigate back" could be avoided. Save the plugin state on the way out, restart GB-PVR into gamezone, read in where you were.

The only real problem I ran into was the time it took to restart GB-PVR. The reason I use FSE is because I'm running on an over-worked, under powered machine. Restarting GB-PVR (and leaving it long enough to read EPG info) could still take a noticeable amount of time, and "the user experience wouldn't be very good". Maybe.

I agree it could be done but its pretty ugly. I am not sure from an earlier post if I can even determine if a use is running in FSE or VMR9 custom, maybe its in the config.xml I haven't checked.

As i said its pretty ugly would rather hang on for sub to support some functionality than try to re-engineer gamezone only to have to re-engineer it again once a more suitable method became available.
Let the Games begin...Round 2!
