I have linked tables from gbpvr.db3 to an access 2003 mdb database using odbc driver (from http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/). But I cant edit any data in the tables because access says that link is not updatable. I have stopped the recording service and exited the tray utility, but it made no difference.

Thanks,
Khurram.

There a lots of native SQLite tools if you want to edit the data. Going via access probably isnt the easiest route.

Well, the idea was to have quick access to gbpvr data in a familiar environment (for me). In fact, I have the forms/queries in the access database ready. I just need read/write access to gpbpvr.db3 to make changes. Specifically, I want to set channel numbers for my analog sources as the channel numbers detected by gbpvr are not correct (and it is hard to correct 100+ channels by hand every time the cable company moves the channels around).

Sorry, I cant really help you with that one. Its not something I've ever done myself.

Well, I finally worked it out. I set the following settings in the DSN:

1) DSN name
2) database name
3) lock timeout: 100000
4) sync mode: NORMAL

I didnt change the values for the rest of the fields in the DSN creation dialog.

In Access, I deleted the linked tables and linked them again using the DSN. And it worked Smile
