Can't Play Hd recordings

Seems odd in that I can watch Live TV with no problems but not record. Also when recording you can see the Chanel slection on the HdHomerun and the hard disk recording activity so it thinks its recording the show. Why the file is not growing is beyond me. thanks for the help.

Try setting BDASubmitTuningRequestTwiceOnRecord to "True" and try setting BDADisableStatusChecks to "False" in config.xml

whurlston thanks for the suggestion , however these setting we already set in the config.xml file as you suggested.

In my continuing quest to get this working I decided to install the version prior to the current one. There was a warning that you shoud use "Run as Administrator" when using VISTA. After install I was able to record an HD program and play it back. So does it logically follow that if I install the current version as "Run as Administrator", will that work as well?

Yes. You will need to do that for any version when running Vista.

After installing current version as "Run as Administrator" everything seems to be working. So thanks for all the help. I would suggest that a Note be attached to all new GBPVR version announcements to remember to "Run as Administrator" under VISTA. It would help us non experts. I know doing what I did made it work but I don't know how it made it work.
