nextcomwireless R-5000 setup help

I would like to add the nextcomwireless hdtv add on usb card for dishnetwork to my gb-pvr. Nextcomwireless supports sagetv and microsoft mce but the r-5000 shows up as a sound video controller not a capture device.
Is there any way to get this going.
