DP Quad LNB not getting all channels

I've tried the default ini files for the common dp sats in north america and I've tried the modified nimq and dp files and I've tried subtracting the transponder frequency from 25600 and changing the H to a V and I still haven't been able to get a full channel list on a scan.

How can I capture all of the channels on those birds ?

If you're using a switch, you need to use one of the devices GB-PVR can do diseqc control with, ie Hauppauge Twinhan or FireDTV.

Diseqc control is not coverted by the BDA spec, so GB-PVR has to implement support for each manufacturer's proprietary scheme that it wants to support.

I'm using a SkyStar 2 card. The Quad has a switch built into it. Is this problem ?

Yes, probably.

I dont have a SkyStar2 device, so there is no support for diseqc control with this device.
