Where is the control panel for this? I see people posting about changes, but I cannot find where to get to these settings?

You can view it from the GB-PVR config app. Or, if the merit of the decoder is highest, and you set GB-PVR to use "System Default", a tray icon will appear whenever PureVideo is running. Right click the tray icon to access the settings.

Also note that they are discussing the old Nvidia Purevideo decoder not the new PureVideo HD which is part of the drivers.

So, what driver pack includes the PureVideo HD? And what version is it? I have 1.02.223.

Any of the latest drivers include PureVideo HD but it is only supported on 8xxx series cards or later. This will give you some information on Purevideo HD: http://www.nvidia.com/page/purevideo_hd.html
