Hi,

I haven't been around in a while and still run a .9x version of GBPVR due to hardware compatibility with the newer versions, but I'd like to request a feature nonetheless as I will likely be getting a newer PC soon.

I watch exclusively from my MVP, which will on occassion reboot itself for no particular reason. I'd like to have a button in the recordings screen that would allow me to resume the last show that was playing. This could also be useful for folks who also can't watch an entire show in one sitting. (I'm also guilty on that count.)

This of course illustrates how lazy I am.

Jim, which dongle do you use for the MVP? We're using the latest mvpmc dongle on two MVP's here and haven't had an MVP reboot/crash in months. Sometimes the server is even recording a show while also streaming to both MVP's at the same time.

Until I move to PVRX2, it's immaterial. It doesn't happen often enough to make me submit a bug report and I doubt sub would supply a fix. I really like the idea of a one button resume. In fact, putting the "Resume Last" on the main menu or even mapping to an MVP remote button would be even better.

Nice Idea... If you were watching a DiVX/XVID and the on the fly transcode is finished, you could always start viewing the temp MVP file that's created during Transcode. That will always be the last avi you were transcoding.

Certainly, if there was a new feature button, it would not be written into .99.x, but it's a great feature to have. I like having it mapped to a MVP remote key too... Maybe in Video/Recordings mode the 'Prev' would call that up...
