Hey the title says it.

It's the 150 XP-home model with a 120G HDD and 1G RAM. There is heaps of info here:
http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/index.php

It motors along very nicely and is plenty powerful for everything except graphical games and serious image/video editing.

I got it for a bargain AUD$418 after cashback! It looks like some are ~USD$300 and even less if you are prepared to sign-up for a 3G contract.

I also see on a few sites that Nvidia's new Ion chipset will have some decent graphics http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3478 This would make for a killer netbook.

Just think - with this sort of kit you could keep an eye on the GBPVR forum from any cafe, beach or bar.Big Grin

Oh, and atom+Ion could make for an ultra-small ultra-quiet ultra-cool HTPC.
I knew there was some relevant point I was going to make....

Check this out - that a HDMI socket on the right!

It also keeps you warm in the winter. The air from the vents does get pretty warm. Smile

I got myself a black AA1 about a month ago. I was lucky to get it during the last live cashback for ebay thing AND with a paypal coupon. The 160gb version with xp set me back about $270 after my discounts.

I just put Civ 4 on it the other night. I was having some problems with moving units where I wanted them, but I'm not sure if that's a tiny trackpad problem or a resolution problem yet (I'm running it windowed mode to get past the AA1's oddball resolution). I was playing Morrowind on it earlier. Yeah, that game is probably 6 years old, but still, it was a great game. And although I didn't really want a glossy screen, it does make colors look richer.
