Youtube has made a website for consoles like PS3 and Wii to stream stuff to TV. Isnt it possible to make a plugin for this on GB-PVR?

That link takes me straight to the main youtube page. If I were going to write a youtube plugin, I would use the API: http://code.google.com/apis/youtube/2.0/...otnet.html

The API is pretty easy to use. The main problem is, as far as I can see, there no way to get a link to download the video. I think that is intentional...
I have not been able to get GB-PVR to play directly from the streaming link, which means you need to pop up a form with a Flash OCX on it and play it that way.
kind of kills the idea for FSE or extenders.

I'm without a dev machine at the moment so I can't test the API. Can you post one of the streaming links for me?

Maybe I phrased that wrong.
Using the API, you can get the movie ID.
Then you use the LoadMovie function, and the OCX control handles the rest
"http://www.youtube.com/v/" + id + "&autoplay=1"
so
axShockwaveFlash1.LoadMovie(0, "http://www.youtube.com/v/T6ene75RM3w&autoplay=1");
will get some Lewis Black playing.

Thanks. The Shockwave script initiates a temporary cache of the flv file on googlevideo.com and authenticates to play it. I think I can grab the url and download the file which can then be played as long as you have an flv filesource filter. I'll need to wait until I can replace my development machine though. If I can do it, I'll send you the source since you seem to have a head start on the rest of it.
