Background download for youtube

Is it possible to do something else like watch recordings, while youtube is still downloading. or download a youtube file and watch it later, probably in a special youtube folder designated in the recordings folder.

I'll be honest, it hasnt been something I've worked on since the last release, so no probably not. I've been keeping myself busy preparing for v1.0
