script for converting dvr-ms to xvid?

I am looking for a script to transcode all dvr-ms (mpeg2, 480i previously recorded through gbpvr) files in a directory to xvid. I am able to do so one at a time using the transcode button pvrx2. I am on xp/sp3. Thanks in advance.

Just use the transcode command that works for you and then in a batch file:

for %%X in (*.dvr-ms) do <your transcode command here>

Thanks, but I don't use a command to do the transcoding -- I only click a button in pvrx2 (under the video library menu). Is there an equivalent command to do that?

Whatever profile you use to transcode will have an entry in the config.xml which ic shte commandline passed to ffmpeg when you click the transcode button.
