Logitech Harmony 676 Universal Remote (Refurbished) $44.99

I'm wondering how these stack up to, say, a 520? ($39.99)

I own and use both these remotes. I personally prefer the 676, however WAF is much higher with the 520.

We purchased the 676 first but then came across the 520 and soon the 676 ended up in the bedroom while the 520 is in the living room, being used pretty much daily. Smile

FWIW, I havent used these on the PC that has GBPVR installed on it and probably wont be doing so as I plan on keeping the PC in the server room, serving up GBPVR to PCH in the living room (whenever I get around to setting that up Rolleyes )

Feel free to ask any specific qs you may have and I'll try to reply as best as I can.

I had a 676 and swore off anything other than 880. The 676, and I suspect the others too, have the conductive paint on the back of the buttons wear off eventually wear off (like 9-12 months maybe depending on use.) After that happens, cleaning works for a while, but then eventually you have to paint the back of the buttons. I didn't have success with that all..worked for a while but I had to keep repainting it. I eventually burned it in a funeral pyre like darth vader in return of the jedi..ok that's bit much, but I threw it away.

The 880 and above, I believe, use different style button with little or no conductive paint.

That said, it worked great while it worked.
