Hi,
I'm having a strange issue again. Randomly, recordings will just stop happening - it says its recording, and creates a new folder, however no files are created. Also, I'm noticing the files saved whilst updating the EPG aren't being deleted.

I'm using the latest version, with no plugins installed other than the Cyberlink mux which has been working perfectly before. I've reregistered the mux filters a few minutes ago to see if it stops happening, although I don't know that its relevant. System uses two Nova-T cards.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi,
I believe Emmerdale should have recorded yesterday (4/03/09) at 1900, although I believe I tested recording something a few hours before now, about 8pm or so. After I tried this I restarted the recording service before "Al Murray's Multiple..." was on at 2130. This recorded fine as expected, but within a few days things will just not record again.

Many thanks for getting back to me, hopefully that will help.

In the case of Emmerdale, it tried to start the recording but device wouldnt start. You can get this same error if the device was in use elsewhere on the system.

Interesting. Would that be a driver issue possibly then? There shouldn't be anything else using the cards. Also, does GBPVR not 'fail over' to the next card? Or would that error be coming up if its tried that already and both cards are in use? Not sure why this has started happening, the system isn't a workstation or is reconfigured regularly, other than Windows updates.

Thanks,
Nick

Yeah, it could be.

No, it doesnt try to. It'll only try recording on the tuner the recording was allocated to.
