I am having trouble with one particular channel not recording correctly. All seems to start OK, but the files (DVR-MS) end up only 184 Mb. Other channels seem OK and it is not always a failed recording. Most shows record OK on the problem channel. During the week I have had 5 failed recordings, always the same show, and this afternoon there were two different ones that failed. All the same channel.

The daily show is at 3:30 (Hi-5)(5 failed recordings this week). The first failed show today was at 14/3/09 4:30 pm (Fishing Australia), the second at 6:30 pm (Funniest Videos).

There are shows on other channels before and after the failures that were fine.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Accoring to the logs the app told the recordings to start at the correct times, and stop at the correct times, but somewhere along the way either the device stop delivering data, or the mux locked up.

You might need to try running with the TS Mux for a while to see if the problem goes away.

Thanks sub,
I will do some testing with TS-Mux to see if it goes away. I can't playback two of the channels correctly with ts-mux as they have a teletext stream that appears to playing up with the timeline on replay via MVP.

As usual with these things, the 2 channels with teletext streams record fine every time for DVR-MS but not TS-Mux playback, and the third is fine for TS-Mux but not DVR-MS .... Grrr!

Thanks again.
