remote client

I am new to GB-PVR but I have managed to get it all working with my WinTV-PVR250MCE tuner card and my Media-MPV (with the new style remote) thanks to all the information in the fourms; THANKS TO EVERYONE!

Is there a remote client for GB-PVR so that I can also view TV/recordings/etc on other machines on my local network (kinda like the Midea MVP)?

theres currently isnt a remote client, but a lot of people have asked about this is the past, so perhaps one day someone will make one, but not for a while yet.

The FAQ for this particular item right now is:

To Install GBPVR on the machine you want to be the client machine. Setup a shared networking drive between the two machines on the recording machine, and use one of the Video Plugins to view and watch the shows off the shared drive from the Client Machine.

Only item you don't get is LiveTV with this method.

I guess you won't get recorning either since GB-PVR would try to use the local database instead of the servers database?

Still you can use the webinterface from the client PC to set recordings.

Correct, you would have to use the Web Interface to set manual recordings and to cancel any recordings.

Did you manage to make the blaster work from MCE2005 receiver,
mine doesn't work, so i'm unable to change channels.

anybody ??

m$ havent released any info about the blaster so sub cant add support for it.
