I have a subfolder (named "Extra") in GBpvr where I put odd stuff that I seldom use. But I can not open this folder in CS4 (or in CS3).
GBpvr fades a bit and stays like that. If I press "stop" it goes back to normal view and I can select any other list item.

As I wrote the above, I got an idea and copied another task image, named it "Extra.png" and now it works.
It seems like CS need to have a task image to work well....

I wouldn't think a task image would hold things up. There is nothing "special" in the skin that would require task images to be present, so this must be a PVRX2 thing?

Could be. Maybe it has something to do with the introduction of the slick skin. It does not work with sub-folder there either.

Today I actually got an Exception trying to go in to a sub-folder.

Code:
2009-04-12 12:12:12.934    VERBOSE    [1]    RENDER ITEM: background mask   (NULL IMAGE!)

I upload the logs as well (plus the exception), if you need more info.

I suppose it doesn't really help 7ore, but for the record I have two different sub-folders in my menu, and they work just fine in CS4 (and CS3 before that) with no extra steps (and no task image).

No, it does not help me... But it is really interesting anyway, to get a complete picture.
My sub-folder work often, but not every time. That is weird.

I get this sometimes too with my Music subfolder - assumed it had something to do with the alternate music plugins but have never got around to checking. What plugins do you have in your "extras" folder?

So far, by looking at the logs, I couldn't find anything that stood out. I haven't tried to replicate the sub menu thing yet, maybe by the end of the week.

I created sub menus and it didn't hang up on me. Did get errors in the logs, but it didn't freeze up.
