How is image scaling supposed to work? When I look at horizontal photo images full screen, they always seem to be fill the screen even though typically my images are not 16:9 ratio. Is there a setting that controls this?

Also what does this setting do? Can it be used to stop the problem where somewhat randomly images play at a terrible resolution?

<InternalRenderResolution>0x0</InternalRenderResolution>

Do you get the same result on the PC and PCH?

This setting is only used on the PC (not MVP/PCH), and determines the frame buffer size that is used for internal renderering of all the screens. The default 0x0 tells it to use the desktop resolution, giving the sharpest possible fonts etc.

Yes they are both always full screen.

Thanks, I had a lower than desktop setting.

Sure it will be someone's picture from a trip to Belgium that posted on the NMT forum. I consider it the photo of the family in the picture frame.

Thanks sub for the help as always. As you anticipated my PC settings were 4x3 and my PCH were 16x9 but the PC settings overrode this. Setting my PC to 16x9 fixed it everywhere. Glad you're back.
