Metadata and image dispaly in video library

I'm having a small problem with a few movies in my video library not changing images and metadata when browsing the library itself. The issue is with a few movie trilogies like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings where I guess having similar names might be causing issues. I have the Lord of the rings movies listed and titled such as LOTR The Two Towers and the star wars movies titled Star Wars I The Phantom Menace or Star Wars II ect. The original star wars trilogy movies seem to work fine and will change data but when I recently added the new trilogy the image and meta data would not change and still show from whatever movie was selected before them in the list. Two of the LOTR films seem to change fine but the move that is alpabetically listed in the middle does not change data either, which happens to be Return of the King. If I delete or rename the .xml file then the cover images will correctly change when browsing but as soon as I add the .xml file back then it displays the same behavior. Not a huge issue but I thought I would ask to see if anybody else had this problem.

Are you running 1.3.11? There was a problem like this in 1.3.7.

Can you let me know the exact media filenames, and maybe zip and attach the metadata files so I can try reproducing it here? (with renamed clips from my collection)

I don't have the exact files used on my server but these I recreated on my test machine and I've notced the same behavior. The attached zip file contains the xml metadata on three movies that are showing the behavior described. The move names are as follows...

Star Wars I The Phantom Menace.avi
Star Wars II Attack of the Clones.avi
Star Wars III Revenge of the Sith.avi

On my test system the image and description information seems to display correctly for Star Wars III but I and II will not update and still show information from the last video selected, either before or after it.

I've been using the sample.xml file to create the metadata for each movie by creating a copy, renaming it, then filling in the correct information for the particular movie. The sample was pulled off of the announcment section when this feature first became available.

edit: I also see this behavior for the lord of the rings films with movie titles

The only movie that has problems with this series though is return of the king.

The issue is invalid characters (ie not xml compliant) in your descriptions.

It chokes on the 'é' in Padmé. If you replace that with an e character, it should work.

That seemed to do it. I'll have to check at home but I'm sure it is that same problem. I'll just have to be more careful when I copy and paste the descriptions from imdb.com.
