I used EWA across my local network with Windows XP, my host machine is now running Windows 7 and I can no longer log into EWA from other machines. I have tried to open port 7647 in Windows Firewall however the firewall interface is now quite different and need help in configuring it, can anyone help?

I assume EWA is accessible on the host machine itself....correct?

yes, I can select http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/guide.aspx on the host browser and view the guide, it disappears on the network when I turn Windows firewall on.

I have got it to work, I had created an outbound rule in Windows Firewall, but have realised it should be an inbound rule, and voila EWA now works on my network.

Good news.....thanks. Big Grin

I am running the RC of Windows 7 but do not have GBPVR loaded on the machine....the firewall (which is now a real firewall) is much more complicated to configure than any previous version.
