Used the qam.ini manager, all 5 settings and all largest channel bases, didn't find anything on any of them. It could be the splitter, but the way the cable is set up in here if it is, there won't be much I can do about it. They essentially ran a cable from the outlet downstairs, to upstairs, which would then be split again across two rooms. I might try calling NTC to see if they'd install an amp up here because the image is fairly grainy as it is. Might even help out with the QAM channels. Thanks again for all your help. Tuner is purring like a kitten now.

I have a more expensive one but I know a few people who have this one and are happy with it. Did you know even get any encrypted channels to show up with any of the frequencies you tested? You do have the latest version of GBPVR don't you?

As far as I could tell I didn't get any encrypted channels either. And I'm using the updated drivers for the 2250 and 1.3.11 for GBPVR. If they won't supply me a amp for free I'll definitely look in to that one, don't know if I need that many connections, but I'd be pretty future proof with that. haha.

You can see what channels you should receive by entering your zip code at http://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/channels_us and then selecting your cable provider from the dropdown.

Yeah, I'm still not getting any of those. I'll call the cable company and see exactly what digital channels I should be able to get. (It didn't even find them on the TV downstairs connected directly to an outlet. Good possibility the signal is split so many times between the entire complex that all hope for digital signal is gone. According to my address no OTA channels can reach the complex either, so maybe they opted out that way. (It's basically surrounded by the tall buildings of UGA) Thanks again for all the help.

Check all the splitters. If any of them are 5-650MHz, it will be blocking the upper channel range. Those are for OTA. Cable should be using splitters that are rated for 5-1000Mhz (or 5-950Mhz). 5-2000Mhz are for satellite but they will work for cable as well.

If you have any that are 5-650Mhz, replace them.

The splitter I'm using upstairs is a 5 to 2, and like I said, if there's another one between the upstairs and the downstairs I'd have to knock out walls in order to get to them. Something tells me that the apartment complex wouldn't like that. And as most things go when I've got them up and running, the cable went out, completely. So I guess I'm doing what I can, but as far as digital goes that might have to be on the back burner for a bit.
