Only Video-Audio input card?

Hello.

I just need a card with video/audio input (composite), no need for tuner.
What's out there that is good enough and not expensive.
Only need to put a satellite source in it, so i can watch/record it on my PC in other room.

My Hauppauge PVR500 (2 tuners) gives me some noise picture when watching from external source (satellite via composite).

Any suggestion?

And of course it must work with GB-PVR and Win 7.

I'm not aware of any devices with the required hardware MPEG2 encoder that dont have a tuner. You should be able to user older style cards like PVR150/PVR500 etc, or newer devices like the HVR-1300 etc.

try the svideo input on the pvr500...it should look a lot better, and the cables are usually shielded better so should eliminate any noise being picked up...

I believe that the composite and S-video inputs on the PVR-500 only attach to one of the tuners. If the other tuner is being selected, then you won't see a picture. To use those inputs with the second tuner, you need this adapter:
