PVRX2 Live TV says no signal from FireDTV sat card

I cannot produce live satellite TV from my GBPVR setup. My best result so far has been a brief stillimage without sound from one mapped test channel with error message saying no signal is detected. Mostly the screen remains black.

Since I am able to watch live tv using the DBViewerapplication there must be something wrong in my GBPVR config. Logs and screenshots attached.

I really want to get GBPVR working - thanks for any ideas.

The problem is persisting. Here are fresh logs after
1. restarting my machine.
2. trying to view a mapped channel (failed)
3. recording a 30 minute fragment using 'quick record', resulting failed file attached

Is this a unique problem?

I cant see an obvious cause in the logs.

Can you maybe see if removing diseqc from the equation helps? ie remove the switch temporarily, and set your capture source diseqc to 'none'.

There isnt many FireDTV DVB-S users here, and I'm not confident the diseqc aspect for this family of devices has been well tested.

Hi, I tried your suggestion and indeed after setting Diseqc to 'none' it now works fine :-)

Unfortunately I do need the the diseqc feature with my triple LNB setup. Is there a way out of this dilemma, short of purchasing the Windows MCE?

Unfortunately I dont have any way to test the FireDTV diseqc functionality, so it'd never been tested.

... you mean "known FireDTV diseqc support".

Diseqc isnt covered by the BDA spec, so each manufacturer does it a different way. GB-PVR works fine with Hauppauge and Twinhan proprietary diseqc interfaces, but not FireDTV.
