Hi!

Would be nice if the preview of scanned channels could use the mdapi filters, so that preview of encrypted channels would work. As of now only FTA channels show up in the preview.

This would be nice for situations like we have in Sweden where some channels show up in different Audio configurations. And sometimes the description is more than cryptic like "(Audio #2)". If preview worked one could test and try the channels before selecting which ones to eventually enable.

Not absolutely neccessary funtionality as there are other ways to get around this, but very nice.

Instead of that, why not have it merge the audio channels into the same video channel and then have control over the audio channel in gbpvr, so you can select the default audio, and also change it, instead of having multiple channels for just different audio.

Isn't this already the case?

I don't know if it is gbpvr that splits the different configurations as different "channels". The effect is that I have two "channels" of the same video, but different audio to choose from and it would be nice to try it out from preview instead of having to map the channel, go to pvrx2 to check it out and the go back to config and remove the unwanted.

I think it is, as the video should be the same stream, otherwise they are wasting bandwidth sending the same thing multiple time, take tv1000, i think that has 4 or 5 audio streams. if you were to watch that on a STB then you would get a list of audio channels for that channel, which can change. Thats what I would like to be able to have, so, like you I dont have to find out which audio channel is what and then remove it in the config app, same with left right channel selection, cartoon network, which i think is in gbpvr, but not sure how to configure it.

Well, I just tested it and it works fine for me. I also remember sub explaining something like there's no difference between watching in the config program and pvrx2. But obviously that's not quite the case for you since it isn't working.

Well, I have to test again and come back. Strange...
