I am having trouble with the Ati tv Wonder digital cable tuner
i was able to add the card to dba.ini but when i try to map the channels

I get a error stating "unable to start bda device you have configured. check device is configured properly and not in use."


WMC is not running
I have attached the logs files.

I am having a similar issue. Mine is an ATI TV Wonder OpenCable Receiver. When I select "Only Show devices detected in this machine" it doesn't find it.

I'll be very surprised if this device works with GBPVR but you can try adding this entry to your bda.ini:

If you still get the error, try changing your tuning_special to "1".

Just so you know, it will definitely NOT work with a cable card inserted. It will only work as a Clear QAM tuner (if at all), albeit an expensive one.

Are you familiar with GraphEdit or GraphStudio and able to create a graph with it?

Yes. I ran through the graphing and edited the ini. It now hangs when I try to map the channels.

Can you post your config logs? Also, does it hang before or after scanning channels?
