I upgraded to Win 7 64 bit on my gbpvr computer. Now my recordings shown on my tv through my pch and using pvrx2 directly on my computer don't agree.
When I set a show to record and then go to watch it on my tv I am able to do so. But if I try to watch it directly on my computer using pvrx2 I can't, the show isn't shown in the ready to be watched listing, its still in the pending recordings, and since the time has passed for recording the show it just sits in the pending recordings. I did have a problem when I first did the upgrade where the recordings didn't work at all, but I fixed that with Subs help. That problem was that when I installed Win7 it assigned a different drive letter to my recordings/movies drives and I forgot to change it in the config. Anybody have any ideas?

It looks like a virualstore problem with the database, You check the folder and delete the files by running this from a command prompt

explorer "%localappdata\VirtualStore\Program Files\devnz\GBPVR"

Martin,
That directory has the following items in it:
Logs directory
gbpvr.db3
recording-dump
Which do I delete?

It should be empty, but you can use it as a clue to how the files get there in the first place. Recording-dump to me show that whatever you run to update the EPG doesn't have the proper rights.

Usually I just have gbpvr update the epg automatically. I think once I did it from my tv screen to view some up coming show times that were out of downloaded epg range. What file do I need to give the proper permissions too?

That once with pvrx2 on the PC would do it. If you open up gbpvr.db3 that should help.
