Color coding makes the different categories stand out but you still have to page through the whole list of stations.

In the example I posted, you'll notice that the first screen cap (using color coding) shows the first 8 channels but doesn't show a single one with Movies while the second screen cap shows the same number of channels but they are only the movies and times without movies are blank

An advantage of seeing the category of shows in a grid rather than a list is that it is immediately clear which ones overlap. Assuming you only have a finite number of capture cards, knowing where the overlaps occur is useful.

I don't disagree with the list of shows in a category as an option. It lets you see further ahead in time for the category you are interested in.

I vote for both options. I'd even like to see an option to display in a grid only the shows to be recorded. I've implemented this in a desktop app (which grabs the information from the GBPVR SQLite database) I use and it is very useful. It also shows for each show in the grid to be recorded, which capture card will be used and the amount of pre and post padding.

I would like an easier way to re-arrange channels when mapping. It's a pain to order them to my liking everytime. A drag and drop thing would be nice, so I don't need to type in the sequence everytime.

I would also like a Sleep Timer, that would stop all processes to allow the PC to go to standby/hibernate. I want to listen to net radio when I go to sleep.

I would also like to add that we love the XRecord plugin for watching our recordings, I was wondering if it could be incorporated. It's visual and easy to navigate. It's been 5 years since I started with GBPVR and never regretted it.

+1 on both these suggestions.

Hi Sub,

- Something I would like is the ability to have video playlists, so that I can string a few videos together and play as a group. I know there is the link file idea, but it has never worked for me, and would like something "native" to GB-PVR itself.

-Also what would be nice is to be able order recordings by series and episode. Sometimes when you have a few separate series (in my case being recorded at the same time) it means I have to manually rename etc.
