I've had my GBPVR setup for 5 years now and so far I've only used it for scheduling and watching recordings(3 mvps and 4 analog tuners) - it is the only way i watch tv. I don't download any media and I have standalone players for HD optical media.
Ripping my dvds and being able to play them on the NMT will be cool, but what I really want is just plain PVR functionality on a noise-less client with EPG, scheduler, comskip and support for a lot of tuners - this is the unique thing about GBPVR that I just love...
I think you are absolutely right about the NMT going of production - availability seems very low everywhere, including Denmark. Considering my requirements, do you think I should order a couple of NMT's right away, or would it make sense to stay analog little longer and wait for some other client?
