I'm seeing jerky playback in Live TV and during some recording, as some others are. I'm a new user to GB-PVR and the latest release is the only one I've tried. I noticed some people are falling back to an older release (08?) and I'd like to try that myself to see if that fixes my problem.

My question is, where do I get an older release? When I click the download link it tries to download the latest release automatically.

Thanks,
Tim

Just thought i would add, not looked to much yet but.

Upgrade from v0.23[Image: rock.gif] to latest = loose all settings, not worried as now setup again, this normal (i hope)?

When starting a playback i get no "resume" if i was watching it before even though the option is set in the CONFIG that is weird, used to like that feature.

Many Thanks

Ashley,

I didn't use the resume feature in any of the previous versions, but i decided to use it in this version and it works fine.

Give it a try again? Perhaps you have to restart your computer.

Got resume working, flapped around with DIRECT X settings and some FFSHOW setting (even though using PVR350 hardware output) and remote direct control, now works ok.

Have other questions but they are in the support forum.

Issue with this version.

Hi there. My TV Guide, for some reason, does not display channels from 26-40. All other channels seem to be there. It seems this has been the case for a few versions and I'm just noticing it now. The channels are displayed and enabled in the EPG source. They are also visible on the Channels tabs of the config. I've tried switching skins, but that has no effect

Thanks,

Jim

I sent it. Just after I sent it, I noticed in the web scheduler that the channels are displayed, but after channel 120 somthing? They have no data in any fields though, I suppose this is the reason for moving them to the end?

Anyway, I checked Zap2it and their site has data for these rogue channels.

Thanks again.

As I said in my email,

It looks like your cable provider has changed the names / numbers of some channels. They are still listed in your TV Guide, but they are shown at the very bottom of the tv guide - old ones with no listings, new ones with listings.

The easiest fix is probably to remove the capture source and recreate it. The initial update for this new capture source will pull in all the correct channels and channel numbers. This does mean you recordings will be removed from the recording screen. If this really bothers you could try to manually fix it by editing the capture source, disabling the old channels, then editing channel numbers on the main config 'channels' tab.

I sent a response e-mail regarding the listings and fixing this.
